The brick-lined ship and supply lock was built in 1875 at the junction of the Sugovica, the Ferenc Canal and the Holt-Duna in Seremle. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The museum is housed in the historic building of the pumping station. Next to the entrance is a bust of Istv\u00e1n T\u00fcrr, the man who was born in Baja and the innovator of the canal system, and a memorial plaque showing the level of the largest and most destructive Danube ice flood to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
