The forest school offers high quality forest infrastructure, thematic demonstration areas, a classroom, accommodation and catering services all year round for students who would like to learn more about the unique flora and fauna of Hungary's largest floodplain forest, the cultural and historical values of the area, and the forest and wildlife management activities.
Our forest school is certified as a "Certified Forest Forest School". The various courses are held by the foresters, forest engineers, retired professionals of Gemenc Zrt. and a dedicated team of local folk artists, teachers, fishermen, beekeepers and archers. The Ecotourism Centre, which hosts the school, and the nearby Molnárka Nature Trail are the winners of the "Ecotourism Facility of the Year" award.
The open classroom next to the school building, the weaving workshop and the pottery workshop can be used for a variety of activities. The grassy meadow can be used for football matches, tournaments or even as an archery range.
