The ornate well was erected on the occasion of the thousandth anniversary of the Hungarian Conquest of Hungary and the three hundredth anniversary of the city of Baja, next to the Sugovica beach and the market.
The small taps are named after the squatting leaders. The fountain named after Prince Árpád was created by Gábor and Éva Veres Veres.
