What is a city card and what is it for?
The City Card is a free, printable or digital discount card designed to make time and services in Baja more attractive for visitors and residents. The card offers discounts on a range of local services, cultural attractions and local gastronomy at participating partners.
How long is the city card valid?
The City Card must be activated. After activation, you can use the discounts for 1 week at the points of sale. YOU CAN ACTIVATE YOUR CARD FROM 01.08.2025!
How much does a city card cost?
There is no fee to apply for a city card.
Does the city card have an expiry date?
Currently, the city card is valid for one week from the date of activation (after using a paid service) during the launch period. However, the operator reserves the right to modify or terminate the card scheme. THE ACTIVATION OF CARDS IS POSSIBLE FROM 01.08.2025!
Who can apply for a city card?
Anyone over the age of 14 can apply for a city card.
Where and how can I apply for a city card?
You can apply for the city card by registering online on the official website or in person at the Baja Tourinform office. A valid e-mail address is required to apply. ATTENTION! THE CARD MUST BE ACTIVATED! Cards can be activated from 01.08.2025
What can I do to stop having to look for my Card in my emails?
We recommend that you save your city map on your phone (for example, in your photos or in the digital wallet app) so that it is easily accessible.
Have I registered, how and when can I activate my card?
Your card will be activated by your provider at the first point of acceptance after you have used a paid service. CARD ACTIVATION WILL START FROM 01.08.2025
What to do if...
What should I do if I have just registered for the card but I have not received an email?
If you have not received the confirmation email within 10 minutes after registration, first check the "Spam" or "Promotions" folder in your mail system. If you can't find it here either, go to the card application page and select "I don't have my card". After entering your email address, the system will resend the card to the address you provided when you registered, from where you can download it. If you still do not receive the email, please contact us.
I can't find my card, what should I do?
The city card is available digitally at the email address provided at registration. If you cannot find it, go to the card application menu and select "I don't have my card". Once you have entered your email address, the card will be resent to the email address you entered during registration, where you can download it again.

Who is responsible for the discounts offered by partners?
Baja Tourism Nonprofit Ltd., as the provider of the city card, is not responsible for the discounts provided by partners, their availability or quality. The information on this website is for information purposes only and the issuer reserves the right to make changes.
Can I give the city card to a family member?
The city card is personalised, but free of charge. The registration process takes 2-3 minutes. Multiple cards can be registered for one e-mail address.
